Unicorn Portrait WIP

Here is my unicorn portrait I've been working on for the past couple of days. Surprisingly it hasn't taken very long. I only work on it for a couple hours a day, maybe even minutes, and I've been doing it for about two or three days? I just love working on it, though. Even though I hate white with a passion (it's the hardest for me to shade! URG!) I still enjoy working on this. I think because I love unicorns and realism so much. ♥
The ref is from an image in my Horse Encyclopedia. There are a lot of work to do on him and a lot of kinks to straighten out here but I'm happy with it so far.
Any thoughts are appreciated! Oh and, sorry for the mad copyright. I just don't want to take any chances!

Oh wow. I haven't been on here in awhile! Sorry about that. Well not much to update real life wise. But you're not here for that are you? This is an art blog! Silly me! Art wise, I have been drawing here and there but I'm not pushing myself because I feel an art block coming on. Guh, art blocks are lame right?? Anyways, I have had a backup piece of art that I work on when another piece is just not going well. And it never fails me. I like working on it, and so far it pleases me. I'll be posting that here in a little while. Hopefully I will post more this month since this blog is lacking and dry...
